Laura & Jake – Hengrave Hall
For her autumn wedding at Hengrave Hall, near Bury St Edmunds, our lovely bride Laura, chose a very natural and flowing style, with heavy emphasis on blush and cream tones. Pieces were finished with beautiful trailing jasmine, which gave the florals an extra-special romance.
Dramatic candelabra table centres work particularly well for November weddings at the Suffolk venue – the autumnal afternoon light is just right to show off our twinkling LED tea lights housed in crackle-glaze vases mounted on the arms of the elegant silver stands.
These were used first on the alter for the service in the pretty church at Hengrave – here fitted with real church pillar candles for a gorgeous twinkling feel.
The church was finished with massed candles and scattered petals but the star of the show was a glorious floral arch over the door. The seriously romantic design is a Tudor Rose speciality and our chief florist Danny Preston makes the construction look an awful lot easier than it is (check out time-lapse videos of how one taking shape on our Instagram feed – Tudor Rose Florist).
And the arch is the perfect backdrop for photographs – these dreamy pics of Laura, her pretty and elegant bouquet and, of course, her new husband, Jake, are by the super talented Martin Beard Photography.
``Thank you so much! The flowers were completely perfect and made our day even more special... ``
